Richard B. Cheney a notable public servant and entrepreneur is the vice president of the United States. Cheney is an established figure on Washington's political scene. George W. Bush who is set to become the next president of the U.S. will be Cheney's fourth. Bush chose Cheney to be his vice-presidential candidate in July 2000, citing Cheney's expertise and wisdom. Dick Cheney was a chief of Staff to Presidents, was a member of the United States Congress as Secretary of Defense and was a part of the country in a variety of positions. Cheney is a man with integrity whom is admired by Republicans and Democrats. Cheney said he views the role of an honest yet discreet advisor to the Bush administration. Cheney declared his delight at being nominated for the Republican vice-presidential nomination. He stated that he is looking forward working with a person who is able to be a team player with individuals of differing political opinions and who share shared goal. Richard Bruce Cheney born Jan 30th 1941 Lincoln Nebraska, the son Richard Herbert Cheney the former Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. He relocated to Casper, Wyoming with his family at the age of 13. The father of his was employed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, directed the soil conservation district in Casper.
