Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the young age of fourteen. Aspen Ladd trained in kickboxing, BJJ, wrestling and boxing before her professional debut at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd became more confident after the win and fought 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents all fell in the 1st round. In WCFC, Ladd defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia dominated Aspen to defeat her in an unanimous decision. This put a black mark on Ladd's records in her amateur. Ladd won her next fight against Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 record. Aspen became a professional in the year 2015. She joined Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011 and won via the first round TKO. Invicta Combat Championships 16, Aspen won the following match in the fight against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission via armbar. Aspen made use of her wrestling prowess to take down McGill in third round TKO. Aspen then faced Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. She fought Hoy with the catchweight (138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd was not able to gain weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy to finish her in 2nd round via TKO. She maintained her dominance, and won another victory over Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd defeated Evinger by a punch in the initial round, she was awarded a performance of the night bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes was in the UFC's Fight Night dos Anjos-Lee rematch with Sijara's Eubanks, was the first match she's ever had in any significant role. Both fighters put up an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd taking a unanimous win and both fighters receiving their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie put an end to Ladd's winning streak within 16 seconds. Yana Knitskaya fell in the third at UFC 7 at ESPN. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. It was a loss by majority decision.
