One child was strapped onto my back, while another crawled around in the playground. I stayed up all night days over months of sanding, and removing wallpaper, and with just one child. Ha! Even after our house was fully furnished, I could not put it down! There was an area at the local markets in which I sold my pieces. There were numerous pieces that I did not know what to do and my storage space was a mess. I held open houses at my residence where 1 thousand people would visit during a weekend. the visitors were able to purchase items on the first level. Growing Days is the result from this. Growing Days was not only an extremely successful company, it was it was also a loving family. As a mom of a child, I found the right way to be able to begin my own company and being a decent mother. Growing Days just fit. Nora my 4th child was born in the year 2013. The direction my company was heading was great, but I needed to rest for a while. I decided to stop working on my antique furniture for a few months and stay home with the children. This was precisely what I needed. It wasn't until a couple of months that the phones started to be ringing. A lot of people contacted me seeking advice about home improvement or decorating. They were mostly people who visited my residence to buy furniture. I started taking on some customers one by one taking my time but it didn't take time before I was running numerous accounts and had a complete home renovation business. Had you told me my business would be the basis for a DIY Network show, I might have thought you were crazy. Even now, when I look back on this situation, I find myself laughing.
